Last Chance To Print Your Data!

Posted by MobyMax on July 26, 2018

The new school year is almost here, and that means it's time for us to archive student data to make room for 2018-19!

On July 31st and August 1st, we'll be doing our annual summer maintenance, which means that Moby will be inaccessible between 3 PM EST on Tuesday, July 31st and 8 AM EST on Wednesday, August 1st.

When Moby comes back online, you'll see that your student data has been archived. You’ll still be able to access progress history, placement test results, lesson scores, and session times in the “Prior Year” sections of your Moby reports.

However, if you will need your messages or specific student answers to problems, now is your last chance to review and print those out!

NOTE: Students who were working in Moby during the month of July will not be archived, so they can continue working uninterrupted.

Simply post a picture of your Moby bulletin board on our Facebook page. We will also accept other creative visuals that you use to track Moby progress (like a decorated filing cabinet showing fact fluency progress or individual folder trackers.) Here's how you can use MobyMax to turn "Summer Slide" into "Summer Success"

Posted by MobyMax on May 22, 2018

Slides are great when they’re on the playground. But in the classroom? The “summer slide” that many students experience between the last day of one school year and the first of the next can cost students two months of grade level equivalency in math skills. And that’s not all; knowledge retention in every subject can be affected.

That loss is hard on students, but it’s equally frustrating for teachers, who work hard to make every school day count. Thanks to the “slide,” they may as well have stopped teaching in April!

It’s no wonder so many teachers have started organizing MobyMax Summer Contests. Rather than just having students read through a few books or practice random multiplication tables, contests keep students from losing what they learned the previous year. In fact, with MobyMax, students actually gain new knowledge between June and September, enabling them to return to school raring to go.
