Communication is one of the biggest obstacles to effective remote learning. Student outreach poses a much larger challenge when you lose the ability to respond to non-verbal cues, provide on-the-fly coaching, and offer much-needed, face-to-face words of encouragement.

Florida’s McKitrick Elementary School has turned to MobyMax.

Here at MobyMax, we are getting lots of questions from teachers and administrators working on the transition to remote learning.
For many districts across the country, students were initially sent home with a list of resources for optional remote learning. But, as reality sets in that school closures could last for months rather than weeks, educators are working on more formal remote learning plans.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing information on how MobyMax can be used to support this transition. Each week, we’ll explore a best practice for keeping kids learning during an extended closure.

Four Simple Steps to Help Administrators Maximize Learning During School Closures
According to the U.S. Department of Education, most schools do not have an effective Contingency Learning Plan (CLP) in place in the event that their schools need to close. Following the four steps below will help school administrators ensure that students keep learning during an extended school closure period.
Step One
